Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 39:4-128.7
- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. b. A person shall not vend within 500 feet of any property used as a grade or junior high or middle school from 1 hour before the regular school day to 1 hour after the regular school day; provided, this subsection shall not apply on days when school is not attended by children nor on school property when vending has been approved in writing by the board of education.
c. A person shall vend only when the frozen dessert truck is lawfully parked or stopped.
d. A person shall vend only from the side of the truck away from moving traffic and as near as possible to the curb or edge of the highway.
e. A person shall not vend to a person standing in the roadway.
f. A person shall not stop on the left side of a one-way highway to vend.
