Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 10-11-27 N.M. Stat. Ann., to qualify for payment under state police member, correctional officer member and probation and parole officer member coverage plan 1, an adult correctional officer member shall have eighteen months of service credit earned under state police member, correctional officer member and probation and parole officer member coverage plan 1 subsequent to July 1, 2004.
