Nothing in this act N.M. Stat. Ann. § 30-20-13 to 30-20-15 shall be construed as limiting the power or duty of any institution of higher education to establish standards of conduct and scholastic achievement relevant to its lawful missions, processes and functions and to invoke appropriate discipline for violations of the standards.
