Terms Used In N.Y. Penal Law 121.14
- Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
For purposes of section 121.11, 121.12 , 121.13 or 121.13-a of this article, it shall be an affirmative defense that the defendant performed such conduct for a valid medical or dental purpose.
