§ 18-b. Notice; the New York black car operators' injury compensation fund, inc. Whenever notice is required to be given to an employer pursuant to this chapter, such requirement shall be satisfied, with respect to an accident or injury to a black car operator, as defined in Article 6-F of the executive law, occurring on or after the fund liability date, as defined in such article, by giving such notice to the New York black car operators' injury compensation fund, inc., except that in the case of a claim arising under section fourteen-a of this article, notice must be given to the fund and to the central dispatch facility, as defined in Article 6-F of the executive law, for which the black car operator was performing services at the time of the accident.
