If any provision of § 5-79-1 — § 5-79-9 or the application of any of these provisions to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional and void, the remainder of § 5-79-1 — § 5-79-9 remains valid.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 5-79-8

Person: means any individual, partnership, corporation, limited-liability company, association, or other group, however organized. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-79-1
Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
