Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 7201.001
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Unless the context otherwise requires, in this chapter:
(1) “Board” means the board of directors of the district.
(2) “Corporation” means the La Joya Water Supply Corporation.
(3) “Director” means a member of the board.
(4) “District” means the Agua Special Utility District.
