As founder of Hackard Law, Michael A. Hackard is committed to representing clients in the Sacramento Valley and San Francisco Bay Area, including Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Solano, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Marin and Sonoma Counties. Michael Hackard regularly provides legal services to out of state clients dealing with California matters. Mr. Hackard focuses his practice on handling cases that involve probate, trust and estate litigation, including financial elder abuse cases.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Sacramento, Mr. Hackard went on to receive a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 1976.
With four decades of experience, Mr. Hackard has taken cases to both state and federal trial courts as well as to appellate courts. He understands the challenges facing clients throughout the litigation process, and he is committed to advocating for their interests and goals, whether through the courts or through a skillfully executed settlement.
