(a) The Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection shall establish procedures and business processes for the use of the Internet and other means of communication and conducting transactions that shall be used for the issuance of hunting, fishing and trapping licenses, permits, stamps and tags pursuant to sections 26-27, 26-27b, 26-28, 26-30, 26-31, 26-36, 26-48a, 26-86a and 26-86c.

Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 26-3c

  • Hunting: means pursuing, shooting, killing and capturing any bird, quadruped or reptile and attempting to pursue, shoot, kill and capture any bird, quadruped or reptile, whether such act results in taking or not, including any act of assistance to any other person in taking or attempting to take any such animal.   • Trapping: means pursuing, killing and capturing by use of any trap, snare, net or other device any bird or wild or domestic quadruped, excluding rats, mice, moles and reptiles, whether such act results in taking or not, including any act of assistance to any other person in taking or attempting to take any such animal by any such method. (b) The commissioner shall establish a schedule of the parts of fees to be retained by agents for the issuance of certain hunting, fishing and trapping licenses, permits, stamps and tags.
