Under the Indiana Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:Class | Prison | Fine |

Sec. 3. An individual, an organization, or a committee that circulates or publishes material in an election without the statement required under Ind. Code § 3-9-3-2.5 commits a Class A misdemeanor.
