- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Department: shall mean the Department of Health and Human Services. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1221
- Electrologist: means a person who practices electrology. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1221
- Electrology: shall mean the practice of removing hair permanently by applying electricity to the hair follicle to cause growth inactivity to the hair root. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1221
- Electrolysis: means the process by which electrology is done. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1221
- Person: shall mean any individual, firm, partnership, corporation or other association or organization. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1221
