Unless otherwise restricted by the articles of incorporation or bylaws of a cooperative, members of the board of directors of a cooperative or any committee designated by the board may hold a meeting of the board or committee by means of conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other. Participation in a meeting pursuant to this section shall constitute presence in person at the meeting. [1981 c.542 § 5]
