Local governments and state agencies having jurisdiction over public highways, sidewalks, alleys, bridges, trails, recreational roads and other ways of public passage may regulate by ordinance or rule and by traffic control device the time, place and manner of operation of electric personal assistive mobility devices, including prohibiting their use entirely.   • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
