The State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying may waive the fundamentals of engineering examination requirement for an applicant for registration under ORS § 672.098 if the applicant has, for at least 25 years prior to the date of the registration application, held a registration or license to practice professional engineering in another state, a territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia or a foreign country.
