After the State Department of Health Services, pursuant to administrative law procedures, submits the proposed regulations developed pursuant to this chapter, the Department of Consumer Affairs, in consultation with representatives from the State Department of Health Services, the Department of Industrial Relations, and members of the task force convened by the department pursuant to Section 26101.7, shall consider and report on the need for standards for mold testing professionals and mold remediation specialists.
