(a) The board may contract with any local agency, state department or agency, federal department or agency, or any tribal government for the provision of any facilities, services, or programs authorized by this chapter within the county service area.
(b) Subject to Section 56133, a county service area may provide facilities and services authorized by this chapter outside its boundaries.
Terms Used In California Government Code 25212.3
- Board: means the county board of supervisors acting as the governing authority of a county service area. See California Government Code 25210.2
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- County: includes city and county. See California Government Code 19
- County service area: means a county service area formed pursuant to this chapter or any of its statutory predecessors. See California Government Code 25210.2
- State: means the State of California, unless applied to the different parts of the United States. See California Government Code 18
