Terms Used In Alabama Code 45-28-121.06

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

All original and promotional appointments shall be for a probationary period of 12 months during which the employee may be rejected by the appointing authorities at any time without right of appeal or hearing in any manner.
