- year: means a calendar year; but, whenever the word "year" is used in reference to any appropriations for the payment of money out of the treasury, it shall mean fiscal year. See Alabama Code 1-1-1
In Geneva County, the total fee for issuance of a permit to carry a pistol as provided by Section person – Issuance; fee; revocation; release of information” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”13A”>13A-11-75, shall be twenty dollars ($20) per year. Fifteen dollars ($15) of the amount shall be paid to the sheriff’s department to be used for law enforcement purposes and five dollars ($5) shall be paid to the county commission for the county general fund. The fee provided by this section shall be in lieu of all other pistol permit fees required by law.
