In Marengo County, Alabama, the procedure for redeeming lands sold for taxes in the county shall be the same as provided in Article 5, commencing with Section 40-10-120, Chapter 10, Title 40, as amended, except that all such duties as are required of and performed by the judge of probate shall be transferred to and be performed by the revenue commissioner, and the probate judge shall be relieved of all such duties.
