- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
No zoning ordinance or regulation promulgated by the Mobile County Commission under the authority of this part shall change any use to which land is being made at the time the zoning ordinance or regulation becomes applicable to any planning jurisdiction.
