- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person subject to the tax imposed by this subchapter shall acquire the permit required by § 182.086 of this code. Application, issuance, and suspension of the permit are subject to Sections 182.087 and 182.088 of this code.
