(1) An employee of a charter school is a public employee and the charter school governing board is a public employer in the same manner as a local school board for purposes of tort liability.

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
