(1) Prior to license renewal, each licensee shall, during each two-year licensure cycle or other cycle defined by division rule:

Terms Used In Utah Code 58-70a-304

  • Board: means the Physician Assistant Licensing Board created in Section 58-70a-201. See Utah Code 58-70a-102
  • Division: means the Division of Professional Licensing created in Section 58-1-103. See Utah Code 58-1-102
  • Licensee: includes any holder of a license, certificate, registration, permit, student card, or apprentice card authorized under this title. See Utah Code 58-1-102
     (1)(a) view a suicide prevention video described in Section 58-1-601 and submit proof in the form required by the division; and
     (1)(b) complete qualified continuing professional education requirements as defined by division rule made in collaboration with the board.
(2) If a renewal period is extended or shortened under Section 58-70a-303, the continuing education hours required for license renewal under this section are increased or decreased proportionally.
