Terms Used In Indiana Code 5-2-6.2-5

  • Project IMPACT: refers to each of the affiliate organizations authorized under section 3(1) through 3(5) of this chapter. See Indiana Code 5-2-6.2-1
(2) To reduce the number of school suspensions.

(3) To reduce the number of youth referred to juvenile courts for delinquency and unruly behavior.

(4) To increase a troubled youth’s ability to cope with daily problems.

(5) To improve relationships between problematic youth and parents.

(6) To change conventional methods of youth incarceration by providing positive alternatives to:

(A) drug abuse;

(B) gangs;

(C) school failure; and

(D) other difficult situations for youth.

(7) To assist problematic youth and their families to:

(A) focus on personal responsibility;

(B) experience achievement;

(C) learn discipline;

(D) develop confidence; and

(E) promote family reconciliation.
