Money to carry out the provisions of this chapter must be provided by legislative appropriation from the State General Fund, and paid out on claims as other claims against the State are paid. All claims relating to a division facility individually must be approved by the administrative officer of such facility before they are paid.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 435.480
- Administrative officer: means a person with overall executive and administrative responsibility for those state or nonstate intellectual and developmental disability centers designated by the Administrator. See Nevada Revised Statutes 435.007
- Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
