Terms Used In Alabama Code 17-17-13

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See Alabama Code 1-1-1
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Alabama Code 1-1-1

Any person who suppresses any nomination which has been duly filed pursuant to Section State to certify nominations” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”17″>17-9-3, shall be guilty, upon conviction, of a Class C felony.
