Terms Used In Alabama Code 3-1-19

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Discovery: Lawyers' examination, before trial, of facts and documents in possession of the opponents to help the lawyers prepare for trial.
  • person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See Alabama Code 1-1-1

Any person, firm, corporation or association violating the provisions of Sections discovery of cows affected with tuberculosis” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”3″>3-1-17 and 3-1-18 shall be fined not more than $500.00 and may also be sentenced to imprisonment in the county jail for three months.
