Terms Used In Alabama Code 45-17-242.08

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See Alabama Code 1-1-1

Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any provisions of this part, or any rules or regulations promulgated and adopted by the county governing body pursuant to this part, shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500).
