In Etowah County, all funds collected pursuant to Section restitution; collection and distribution” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2021″ statecd=”AL” title=”12″>12-17-224, which are presently deposited in the Worthless Check Fund which is maintained by the Etowah County Commission, shall, upon the application by the District Attorney for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit to the Etowah County Commission, be transferred in such amounts as applied for to the District Attorney’s Fund for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit. Such funds, when transferred from the Worthless Check Fund to the District Attorney’s Fund, shall be spent by the District Attorney for the same purposes as other funds deposited in such District Attorney’s Fund.
