Terms Used In Alabama Code 45-48A-61.01
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
For the purposes of this part, the municipal corporation may exercise the right of eminent domain. The eminent domain proceedings shall be conducted in the manner now provided by law.
