(a) Effective on June 1, 2023, the Revenue Commissioner of Bullock County shall be entitled to an additional annual expense allowance in the amount of twelve thousand five hundred dollars ($12,500) per year payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county or from any other fund from which the salary of the revenue commissioner is paid. The expense allowance provided by this section shall be in addition to any other compensation, salary, or expense allowance otherwise provided by law.

Terms Used In Alabama Code 45-6-240.03

  • year: means a calendar year; but, whenever the word "year" is used in reference to any appropriations for the payment of money out of the treasury, it shall mean fiscal year. See Alabama Code 1-1-1
(b) At the end of the term of the revenue commissioner serving on May 1, 2023, the expense allowance provided by this act shall expire and this section shall be repealed.
