  • action: includes any matter or proceeding in a court, civil or criminal. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.

A person may object to an application for issuance, renewal, transfer of location, or transfer to another person of a license, for issuance, renewal, or transfer to another person of a license with one or more endorsements, for issuance of an endorsement, or for issuance of a permit by serving upon the applicant and the board the reasons for the objection. The board shall consider the objections and testimony received at a hearing conducted under action on license applications, suspensions, and revocations” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2023″ statecd=”AK”>Alaska Stat. § 04.11.510 (b)(2) when it considers the application. An objection and the record of a hearing conducted under Alaska Stat. § 04.11.510 (b)(2) shall be retained as part of the board’s permanent record of its review of the application.
