Upon revoking a certificate of authority, the commissioner shall

(1) issue a certificate of revocation in duplicate;

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 10.20.595

  • commissioner: means commissioner of commerce, community, and economic development. See Alaska Statutes 10.20.920
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(2) file one of the certificates in the commissioner’s office;
(3) mail to the corporation at its registered office in the state a notice of the revocation accompanied by one of the certificates.
