Alaska Statutes 15.56.199 – Definitions

In this chapter,

(1) “election” includes a local election as defined in Alaska Stat. § 15.80.010 in addition to a state election;

local election: means a regular or special election held by a borough, city, school district, or regional educational attendance area. See Alaska Statutes 15.80.010
state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(2) “knowingly” has the meaning given in Alaska Stat. § 11.81.900(a).
