- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
Notwithstanding Alaska Stat. Chapter 44.62 (Administrative Procedure Act), Alaska Stat. Chapter 37.07 (Executive Budget Act), and other provisions of this chapter, a state agency may not adopt regulations or impose additional requirements or procedures to implement, interpret, make specific, or otherwise carry out the provisions of Alaska Stat. § 37.05.315 – 37.05.317 unless required by the federal government for participation in federal programs.
