- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
The state, except when providing investment management and related services under Alaska Stat. § 37.23.050(3), and participating public entities are not liable for any acts or omissions of an investment manager with whom the participating entities have contracted for investment management and related services under Alaska Stat. § 37.23.050.
