The department shall

(1) collect and enforce the collection of taxes due under Alaska Stat. § 43.52.200 – 43.52.295 and penalties as provided in Alaska Stat. Chapter 43.05;

Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization

(2) adopt regulations necessary for the administration of Alaska Stat. § 43.52.200 – 43.52.295; and

(3) subject to annual appropriation, distribute the payments described in Alaska Stat. § 43.52.230(b).
