On or before February 1, 2023, and annually thereafter, the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall submit a report, in accordance with the provisions of § 11-4a, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to transportation. Such annual report shall include the following information from the preceding year: (1) The average amount of time a person spends at the Department of Motor Vehicles for an appointment that was scheduled on the department’s Internet web site, (2) a list of the transactions that were available to be conducted by scheduling an appointment on the department’s Internet web site, (3) a list of the transactions that were available to be conducted on the department’s Internet web site, (4) the number of transactions conducted on the department’s Internet web site, and (5) a summary of the department’s efforts to increase the types of transactions available to be conducted on the department’s Internet web site.
