Connecticut General Statutes 17b-179a – Information sharing between Departments of Social Services and Revenue Services re assets and income of child support obligors
(a) On a quarterly basis, in IV-D support cases, as defined in subdivision (13) of subsection (b) of § 46b-231, the Department of Social Services shall compile a list of child support obligors who have no visible earnings and shall transmit such list to the Department of Revenue Services. The Commissioner of Revenue Services shall promptly identify any such individuals who have any reported assets or income and transmit to the Department of Social Services the name, address and Social Security number of such individuals together with information on reported assets or income available for such individuals.

- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
(b) The Commissioner of Social Services and the Commissioner of Revenue Services shall enter into a purchase of service agreement which establishes procedures necessary for the administration of subsection (a) of this section.
