The commissioner may set schedules and assess civil penalties for any violation of this chapter pursuant to sections 22a-6a and 22a-6b. Notice, hearing and appeal procedures shall be made pursuant to subsections (c) to (h), inclusive, of § 22a-6b.

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
