At the end of each fiscal year commencing with the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2003, the Comptroller is authorized to record as revenue for such fiscal year the amount of any payments from the Energy Conservation and Load Management Funds which are deposited into the General Fund pursuant to section 20 of public act 03-2* no later than (1) the last day of July immediately following the end of such fiscal year, or (2) if such last day of July is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, as defined in § 12-39a, the next succeeding day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday.

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • succeeding: when used by way of reference to any section or sections, mean the section or sections next preceding, next following or next succeeding, unless some other section is expressly designated in such reference. See Connecticut General Statutes 1-1
