(a) The Treasurer shall maintain a readily searchable list of property presumed abandoned and reported or transferred to the Treasurer under this part and for which there is sufficient information for the Treasurer to identify the apparent owner of such property.

(b) The searchable list required under subsection (a) of this section shall contain: (1) The names and the last-known addresses, if any, of all persons reported as the apparent owners of unclaimed property, (2) information concerning the amount and description of such property and the name and address of the holder thereof, and (3) such other information as may be required by the Treasurer.

(c) The Treasurer shall notify by first-class mail each person, other than an individual to whom the Treasurer makes or will make a payment pursuant to subsection (f) of § 3-70a, reported as the apparent owner of unclaimed property that was reported or transferred to the Treasurer during the preceding calendar year and for whom the holder of such property has reported a last-known address to the Treasurer. Such notice shall include information concerning the amount and description of such property and the process by which such owner may verify ownership to and claim such property.
