Connecticut General Statutes 9-719 – Grant amounts and expenditures: Analysis; report
(a) After each general election, the State Elections Enforcement Commission shall compile and analyze the following:

- Election: means any electors' meeting at which the electors choose public officials by use of voting tabulators or by paper ballots as provided in §. See Connecticut General Statutes 9-1
(1) The amount of grants made during the election cycle from the Citizens’ Election Fund established under § 9-701;
(2) The amount of expenditures reported by each candidate participating in the Citizens’ Election Program established under § 9-702 and by each candidate not participating in the program during the election cycle;
(3) The amount of money returned to the Citizens’ Election Fund during the election cycle by each candidate;
(4) The overall and average amounts of spending for each election contest for each office during the election cycle; and
(5) The amount of independent expenditures for each election contest for each office during the election cycle.
(b) Not later than January 1, 2012, and biennially thereafter, the State Elections Enforcement Commission shall report its analysis conducted under subsection (a) of this section and any recommendations for adjustments to grant amounts under the Citizens’ Election Program to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to elections in accordance with the provisions of § 11-4a.
