Unless a change in law has clearly been made, the Revised Uniform Commercial Code shall be deemed declaratory of the meaning of the Prior Uniform Commercial Code.
Terms Used In Delaware Code Title 6 Sec. 11-109
- Prior Uniform Commercial Code: means the Uniform Commercial Code as in effect prior to the effective date of this Act. See Delaware Code Title 6 Sec. 11-101
- Uniform Commercial Code: A set of statutes enacted by the various states to provide consistency among the states' commercial laws. It includes negotiable instruments, sales, stock transfers, trust and warehouse receipts, and bills of lading. Source: OCC
