(1) For the purpose of this rule and Fl. Admin. Code R. 15C-1.004, the following words have the meaning indicated:
(a) Temporary tag – A white cardboard license plate designed and distributed by the Division of Motorist Services.
(b) Issuer – Includes motor vehicle dealers licensed under Florida Statutes § 320.27, mobile home and recreational vehicle dealers licensed under Florida Statutes § 320.77; and banks, credit unions and other financial institutions who issue temporary tags for the purpose of demonstrating repossessions for sale.
(2) Temporary tags may be used only until midnight of the thirtieth (30th) calendar day following the day of issuance. The day of issuance shall count as the first day.
