(1) Any information that the Oregon State Board of Nursing obtains pursuant to ORS § 678.021, 678.111, 678.113, 678.123, 678.135 or 678.442 is confidential as provided under ORS § 676.175.
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 678.126
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
(2) Upon receipt of a complaint under ORS § 678.010 to 678.410 or 678.442, the Oregon State Board of Nursing shall conduct an investigation as described under ORS § 676.165.
(3) Any person, facility, licensee or association that reports or provides information to the board under ORS § 678.021, 678.111, 678.113, 678.123, 678.135 or 678.442 in good faith shall not be subject to an action for civil damages as a result thereof.
