Terms Used In 11 Guam Code Ann. § 3208

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
If the applicant applies for a license after the beginning of a fiscal year but during the first (1st) quarter of the year, he shall pay the full fee therefor. If he applies after the end of the first (1st) quarter and during the second (2nd) quarter he shall pay three-fourths (3/4) of the fee. If he applies after the end of the second (2nd) quarter he shall pay one-half (2) of the fee regardless of when he applies.
