1 Guam Code Ann. § 414

Under the Guam Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

is unlawful for any person, without authority of law, to use any representation of the Great Seal or Coat of Arms of the Territory, or any government seal authorized by law, in any advertisement, letterhead, or for any commercial purpose or in any manner likely to give the impression of official territorial approval, without first having obtained a permit for that use from the Lieutenant Governor or his designee, or from the authorized custodian of the other seal desired to be used. Any person in violation of this Section is guilty of a misdemeanor.

SOURCE: Former Penal Code § 310(b) enacted by P.L. 12-79 but inadvertently omitted from the new Criminal and Correctional Code. This Section was adopted from a similar provision in the California Penal Code.
