Terms Used In 20 Guam Code Ann. § 2111

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
In an action for the breach of an obligation not arising from contract, and in every case of oppression, fraud, or malice, interest may be given.
