- Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
Any person may proceed by action in the Superior Court to compel the Commission to cancel any registration made illegally. If the person whose registration is sought to be canceled is not a party to the action, the Court may order him to be made a party defendant. The Commission, and as many persons as there are causes of action against, may be joined as defendants.
